The Hot Wheels RacerVerse brings together iconic characters from movies, TV, comics, pop culture, and more, transformed into high-speed Hot Wheels racers. This high-octane racing world, done the Hot Wheels way, pits characters against each other head-to-head. At San Diego Comic-Con, we debuted the Hot Wheels RacerVerse, showcasing 1/64 scale cartoonish-style cars inspired by characters from various properties.

I collaborated cross-functionally to create a captivating booth backdrop that highlighted unique vehicles inspired by characters from various properties, each designed to reflect the personality of its character. My role included providing art direction for character illustrations, ensuring authenticity, and composing the final printed layout design.
The art direction aimed to capture a fast and vibrant design for the characters, translating their personalities into dynamic visuals that resonated with our audience. These designs were carefully crafted to appeal to fans of all ages, drawing them in with their energetic and exciting appearance.
Photo Wall/ AR Filter
I designed a dedicated wall section in the booth where fans could capture a Hot Wheels RacerVerse photo with two legendary Marvel super-heroes, creating a memorable experience.
Additionally, I assisted in the art direction of an AR filter that immersed fans into the segment by transforming them into Hot Wheels RacerVerse racers. This experience was easily accessible through a special QR code linked to Instagram, engaging fans in a fun and interactive way. Scan below to try.
