Hot Wheels NFTs- Series 8

The Hot Wheels NFT project introduces unique digital collectibles, bridging a legacy of over 20,000 distinct die-cast models released over the years. Through the NFT Garage, we've embarked on an epic journey from physical to digital collectibles, catering to a new generation of enthusiasts and adult collectors.

 

My involvement spanned from strategic planning for the Series 8 NFT drop, leading the art direction of the new NFTs, rarities, and collectibles, conceptualizing trailer animations, managing marketing campaigns, developing webpage layouts, and producing various social assets to engage our audience.

I provided art direction and storyboarding to our outside agency, guiding them in creating an engaging series trailer that unveiled select cars from this drop. The trailer not only showcased these exciting additions but also built anticipation by announcing the release date, igniting enthusiasm among collectors for their favorite automakers and adrenaline-pumping Hot Wheels originals as NFTs.

Web & Mobile

Since our team typically doesn't have the physical die-casts created before our launch announcements, I orchestrated the creation of visual assets for web and mobile platforms. I helped directed 3D artists, and approved final renders, ensuring they accurately represented our upcoming physical die-casts on the website.

 

I collaborated closely with developers to create and implement assets for the NFT Series 8 launch on Mattel Creations website. Furthermore, I worked alongside the social team to develop compelling and engaging posts across multiple platforms, connecting with our audience and driving excitement for our NFT drop.
